Exhaust deletes mean tune up?

Sup guys,

So my friend’s dad has a car shop & he told me he can give my car a cat back exhaust like the one from sxth element (see attachment). He can cut, get the pipe & weld it in the areas that i will delete like the cat, resonator & muffler...

I was also thinking of buying the 2.5 exhaust race pipe (see other image) & cutting that whole area after the down pipe & putting it on there to prevent a lot of cutting/welding for the deletes...

Here’s where it gets tricky.. do i need a tune up to get rid of that “Check Engine” for the CO2 sensor & whatever other messages come up.
Or what do I need to not delete to not have that light on?

Thanks in advance!

There is no sensor after the 2nd cat, removing it will not cause a CEL.

I’ve only heard them on youtube tbh.. no one in my area has the sports & if they do, no mods on it. I want mine to be loud when you accelerate, get more pops & a little loud when you cruise

Not unless you remove the first cat.

More noise of course, power not so much. The stock ECU will only let you get about ~15whp before the power limiters kick in. At that point if you want more, you'll need a tune.

I wouldn't call my JUN BL axle-back "loud" when I accelerate but you can certainly hear it, no doubt about it and it does pop from time to time but not like my old Abarth. My exhaust lets you know its there when cruising, no doubt about it. IMO you don't wanna go too far in this car because then it looks like your "trying to hard", its just not that kinda of car. I wish you could hear my car inperson, I'm actually considering removing the 2nd cat and replacing it with a Vibrant bullet style resonater, just for a performance gain and a side effect will probably be a "little more" sound which is ok but only as long as its a little and doesn't create any drone.
