They just popped in with the final diagnosis, I need a new alternator too. $1277 in repairs and no car til Thursday.
I had to read this a few times because it sounded like you said they claimed the alternator not working made the car overheat. Which is not possible. How many miles? I doubt an accessory belt would go bad that quickly, and them not covering it is crazy.

Make a scene about it not being covered in the lobby, it'll change their mind real quick about "not covered by warranty"

Water belt slipping off caused both the overheating and wrecked the alternator which caused the battery warning light I mentioned in my OP. Iím coming up on my 51k oil change.

I donít want to give them an excuse to call out my intake, intercooler resonator delete, BPV hose delete, exhaust resonator delete, and/or muffler delete. Honestly, I havenít been as diligent about the other items on the maintenance schedule beyond the oil changes and tire pressure & rotation I do myself. I ďinspectĒ the hoses and belts for the most obvious wear but I donít really know what Iím doing. In my 51k miles, Iíve never had an official service.

You guys in the States have a law stating they must prove those parts damaged whatever broke, I forget the name of it but it's a thing for sure

Spoiler

So I ordered a carbon fiber spoiler and today I received it. This thing is no joke, it is real carbon fiber, not plastic wrapped to look like carbon fiber, real freakin carbon fiber and it was only 240 CAD shipped to my door. I have just finished the installation and wanted to share this option we all of you folks.
