That's basically cooling down your turbo, most turbo cars do that.

It's normal and controlled by the computer so it shouldn't affect the battery

in the 80s and 90s you were supposed to let the car idle for a few minutes before turning it off so it could cool down. its just a safety feature to prolong the life.
