My daughter in-law has a 2013 Elantra. No spare.
Everything I read has more & more new cars are coming without a spare tire.
Just Google it. Hyundai just about tops the list.
I guess I'll have to go to a dealer and see for myself.

First I have to tell my wife that I am looking for a new car.
That's going to be worse than dealing with a dealer!

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for a permission

Makes sense then if you haven't physically looked yet. So yes, all Sport models should come with a compact spare and a scissor jack kit.

Sorry for the confusion. It is listed on the window sticker.
This is the exact car that I want.
Not many of the Sports around?

Okay, which of you have the guts to tell my wife about this?

Thanks again. . .

If you think she will even remotely enjoy it, take her for a drive! You can always gloss over the fact that its a "sport" if you think she will try and go for the "normie" version instead.

As for not many being around, its area dependant. Many people they don't see them on the road but where i am i'll see a few 17/18 models in a week and the 19/20's i'm starting to see more of on the roads!

I am interested in a 2020 Sport with premium package.
My problem:

I'm an "old timer." I won't buy any car without a spare tire.
I've been looking all over the place to find a donut that would fit this car.
I would even buy a full size tire if it would fit in the spare tire well. Finding a jack &
wrench would be an easy find. Does anyone out there in Hyundai Sport land have
a spare (18 inch?) that would fit this car? If so, where did you get it?
Thanks......
I own a 2020 ES and it came with a spare tire and all the tools, you should be good to go.

While I would agree, it was a misunderstanding. All ES have a spare.
