Hey forum,

Just bought my 2018 ES and wanted to see what parts were out there for sell. Looking for recommendations and parts for sell anything helps. I've done tons of prior research before I even bought the car a week ago. Mostly interested in intake/induction, ( debating heat shield/boxed or bpv recirc, don't want heat to hurt performance but want more induction/spool volume for sure) exhaust (leaning away from catless, it complicated emissions, but also really like the pops and gurgles so maybe catted is the way to avoid cat replacement), ecu/tune chip, springs, wheel tires (wheel and tire setup recommendations) cosmetics. Again I appreciate any and all help, recommendations or parts for sell and keep in mind I do daily this thing 60mi a day 5 time a week.

The boxed intake seems cool but after learning that it doesn't match to the snorkel and hinders induction noise I changed my mind a while back. Tell me more about the installation process of the bov solenoid/and gfb was it easy, what was the purpose and did you enjoy the difference after it was installed? Also please tell me more about what the midpipe and the axleback, I'm assuming the axleback is straight piped and the midpipe may be too, can't find anything on the midpipe online anymore. How was the tone/volume after the midpipe vs/plus axleback.

For example the intake location that Velossatech makes and if you look at the Sxth intake box for the 18 vs the newer ones, the old one doesn’t use the location and the new ones bolt into that grille intake. Hard to explain but I’m sure you understand

It’s been used for about a year now, filter just needs to be cleaned or replaced since it’s pretty dirty. No heat shield, not sure on the bpv recirc, and I think it has PCV, not too sure I’m still learning about all this stuff. Im willing to sell it for $350

also wanted to mention it sits right behind the front bumper air vent which helps a lot

Looks like it have both the pcv and bpv recirc, maybe someone else here would want it though. I guess you wouldn't need a heat shield because it is wrapped and tucked way down in there

Damn. Just paid a guy from Tennessee for a K&N lol. What I really need to learn is if there is a place in Houston or maybe just Texas in general that is good and familiar with tuning Hyundai/Kia. Also if you have any other parts/tips to pawn off just lmk, I'm still new to the G4FJ platform but very eager.

To be fair I found one for 100 less than your offer so no big deal. So if you haven't tuned it, what mods have you done so far?

SXTH intake is strictly on the engine side of the radiator support, including the stock snorkel that works with it. The Velossatech is on the bumper side of the radiator support.
