My car is about 49k miles, 2nd owner. Certified Pre-Owned with Hyundai warranty.
This is my 3rd check engine light within a week.
1st was “random misfires” in 1, 2, and 3 -dealership stated, “performed adaptive reset”, 3 mile test drive returning it to me saying it’s fine
2nd was the very next day, I took it in, same dealership misfires in cylinders 1, 2, and 4. Spark plugs were replaced everything is fine for 6 days.
Both times car shuddered, struggled to move and I had to pullover and wait it out.
Today, when I got in I noticed the outside temperature meter was flashing and not displaying anything, it’s not important so whatever. A couple minutes later I notice the check engine light on, temperature still flashing. No other symptoms.
I had a previous issue (about 2 months ago) with the same symptoms from the misfires, that was fixed with ignition coils.

My question is what is could be causing so many things to fail?

I’m going into the dealership later today to have this fixed.

I'm not even sure what that might be. Almost sounds like a head gasket issue, but there would be additional indicators. Maybe a bad electronic ignition module?
