Hatches are nice, but I like the sleeper sedan thing. With the apparent return to hot hatches, folks look for the the badges and body differences right away for the GTI or ST label. Not a bad thing just is. So I am glad that Hyundai is building the GT and will by all reports make a step above the sport version for their N division. Just hope they take the sedan along for the ride to the same levels. Would love to move up from the ES sedan to let's say a ES N division version. In five years or so. If they do not take the sedan to the next level of performance with the hatch, I will like hatches allot more and that will be my next car. lol

I'm with you on that. My wife has a 2014 (pic attached) and loves it, and our experience with it was a factor in me getting an ES. When I saw the pics of the upcoming GT, I was very disappointed in its appearance vs. the existing one.
I Get the feeling that Hyundai is sort of heading down the European influence for styling. I like the direction that they are going but that is just my opinion. I thought the 2011-2015 styling was brave and it caught allot of attention. My GF has a 2012 and we both love the car's looks. Will be interesting to see what styling differences there will be between the N and non N versions. I actually liked the Veloster turbo as well.
