Hey guys. I'm interested in respraying my grille black because the paint is peeling and I'm not a fan of the chrome stripes. How easy is it to remove the grille? I'm worried about not being able to put the bumper or grille back on 100%

They usually have tabs to undo it. Why not just have a vinyl or body shop tape over the chrome.

Do not take the entire grill off! unless your doing a real repaint. I plasti dipped mine black and its held up perfect for a year so far. also dipped the chrome looking fog light area. What i did was take a couple garbage bags and wiggle them in behind. then spread them so its covering everything behind. Tape off front gloss trim around grill, and spray away. i did 5 coats. i worked amazing. i did matte black but you could easily do gloss black with clear gloss after.

It's really simple they have videos on you tube I replaced my grill with MS grill looks way better than the factory
