It's lacking a bit a of character that rivals that have come before it include but this is just a start and it's a good start. What's going to be much more interesting is seeing how they improve on it over the years.

BUT for the demographic it serves, the Elantra Sport serves as a great platform to modify.

I wonder what the aftermarket support is going to be like for it though. I haven't really seen too many modified Elantras before. Maybe it's just my area but I'm not too sure.

It will no doubt be much slower than support for say the... Honda Civic but there should be some decent selection of parts specific to the Elantra. Fortunately there's enough of universal things you can do that will result in noticeable changes. Like... a some cool vinyl wrap, aggressive wheels and a drop alone would do a lot... all "universal".
