Yeah.... That seems like a logical time to offer a variant or a Sport "N" Trim to me...Don't expect anything before the Elantra is due for a facelift. 2020 at the earliest.

I agree. The market for sporty sedans, especially ones that compromise nvh and ride for performance, isn’t exactly great. ****, even regular sedans have been taking a hit from the suv market. There’s just not the same money in them any more. Subaru has a cult following and has marketed the crap out of their awd system so WRX’s will always sell. If you plan on making a more hard core performance variant of a car it has to be a hatch or coupe. I imagine the Veloster N will probably be enough for Hyundai in the hot hatch market.To fight who? WRX?
