DCT clutch pack issues.

I've had my ES from day 1 and haven't had many complaints except for 1. There was a transmission issue that if you didn't come to as complete stop the TCM couldnt figure out to reingage God clutch pack. So I was out of town and had to go to another dealer. There is a TSB and a recall on this issue. They reprogrammed my TCM. After about 5000 miles now it slips under medium or heavy acceleration. Az anyone else have this issue? Is there an aftermarket solution to this clutch pack problem? I've only got 17500 miles on it. Just seeing what's out there before I give it to thy he dealer for a week or two. Thanx

I don't have the DCT but I have not seen anyone mention anything about a TSB or the clutch pack slipping.
I belive I have multiple issues with my clutch on my 2017 was it makes lots of noise it slips it clicks and one day I was in intersection and it started to take off and then cut out and wouldn’t engage hear dealer reflashed the driving habits but to still feels crappy seems like it has low power some days idles funny kinda starting to get funny smell out of the vents but the dealer doesn’t wanna do anything for me ... they said it’s to exspencive to diagnose They sent just going throw parts n guess .... they really don’t know the es the tech said they have done 0 work on them in the ajax dealer ...there pricks .... and there crappy service team there

I m kinda getting the same funny smell sometimes on my DCT, 1 year old @14,000km. you will get alot of power hesitation if you give it a bit of gas than let off when you are in the intersection. now occasionally it would slip from 1st gear to 2nd gear. I can see the gear did change but the rpm didn't drop during the changing so that mean it is slipping gears.
If you are talking about the hesitation lag during the traffic light intersection issue, it's actually the well known normal issue of our DCT. I got same issue since my previous 2012 Veloster DCT till to the current 2018 ES DCT. But it was improved a lot and seems much better on normal and sport mode.

There is no TSB to solve as I know. If yes, please let me know the TSB information.

You need to change your normal driving behavior to suit this DCT. Don't let it cruise during the traffic light intersection. Only stop and go.
There are zero TSB's out for the Elantra Sport.

This is correct you cannot drift at slow speed this is not a regular automatic, when your stopped you cannot just let your foot of the brake and coast, this will cause premature wear of the clutch. Your moving at least at 5mph or your stopped. In stop and go traffic leave a good amount of space between you and the car in front. On a hill hit the brake and gas at the same time then release the brake, if you just release the brake on a steep grade and hold your position with the gas, it will cause premature wear and possible overheating .
