Hello,
Bought a 2018 Elantra Sport 2 weeks ago with 25,000 miles. This morning I got in and started the car and numerous caution lights were on. The lights were “Engine Light & Tire Pressure Light, Traction Control Off & Blind Spot Monitoring Off.” After getting the tire pressure corrected, all cautions ended but the engine light. After driving to and from the grocery store, the engine light went off.

what could be the cause? The car sounded fine, drove fine, and had plenty of oil.

Thanks,
Alan Dove

AutoZone can read codes for free. Or you can buy a cheap bluetooth OBD dongle and use the Torque Pro app to check it yourself.

Thanks for the info! Engine light hasn’t been on since then, but if it pops up again I’ll consider those options. Just a weird occurrence is all it is.
