Just finish the break-in period in my ES and was doing my research for the future mods. After searching in the Veloster Forums and the parts that our major vendors (Tork, 845 & SXTH) have for the VT I make a table with the 3 stages that I would like to do in my ES. I used the VT parts and price for my estimate and make an approximately whp calculation with the info that I found (Assuming that soon we will have the same performance parts available for the ES). Just let me know if something is missing and if my WHP guess (using 93 octane) are correct. Also, can I install the Big Gulp CAI with the OEM intercooler pipes and OEM recirculating valve?

You don't need the boost gauge, wideband, interceptor or gauge pod. That can all be had with the Torque App and a tablet or phone. Get a phone mount, and set those gauges up with your phone and a dongle that you pay $49 for.

Head gasket and head studs are not needed. We have confirmed that the head bolts are the latest revision (hopefully it stays that way) and they no longer stretch under 260 WHP, not sure how far we will be able to go, but we will be testing soon for you guys. Get the motor mount now, don't wait... its a very worth while purchase.

Get the tune after getting the FMIC, because you will need a revision after this part. The first round of parts will work just fine on the car without a tune, when you get the FMIC, then get the tune (more power to be had at this stage).

Last, I wouldn't get the modded stock turbo if you are looking for 310 to 320 WHP. Get our big turbo kit and enjoy the power you get from it vs the modded stock turbo. The big turbo kit allows you to go further, vs wasting the money on the modded stock turbo, which will cap you at 330 WHP. Big turbo will make power easier, and hold that power longer than the modded stock turbo. My .02
Thanks for the info Tork! Does the Torque app for iphone can read Knock Retard in the ES?

I believe you can read knock with it.
Not in the ES. That requires the Advanced EX plugin, which does not support the ES as development stopped on it a couple years ago. Believe me, I tried. There isn't a 1.6l car profile that allows the Torque app to read Hyundai specific PIDs, and the knock sensor and knock ret pids fall in to that category.
