Probably not until after August. Don't expect many (if any) changes.

In your dreams. :D
My sweaty wetty dreams! I would LOVE that configuration.
Priced around 30k (base) - 45k (tech + DCT + brakes + exhaust + drive modes) it would destroy the competition.

Nobody is going to pay $45k for an Elantra. Doesn't matter how hot it is.

Yes, you are correct. It would have to be re-badged as i30 N variant.

Do we even have it confirmed Hyundai will continue the Elantra Sport going into 2019? They aren't making that many of them that's for sure. Nothing in stone yet I don't believe going forward.

Australia is a key word there, they pay a lot more for everything. $39k AUD = $31k USD.

FWIW, the 2018 VW Golf (non-GTI) hasn't even landed in the USA yet. It's pretty early for a 2019 model, as others here have already mentioned.

I'm definitely not a fan. I'm betting it will get the "floating tablet" display as well which I also dislike.

Probably not. I don't see them changing the interior so much that they put a new dashboard in it. This is a facelift, not a whole new car.
