Pop the clips from under the hood (6-7)
Pop the clips from underneath and in the wheel well (10+ I believe)
Take out the bolt where the bumper and fender meet on both sides
Encourage it to pop from pulling bumper towards you (at least thats how I did it).

Should be it, I know it seems vague but there isn't much to it.

It really is that simple, however there is a key area I’m sure that’s damaged on yours that cracks very easily. It’s on the fender side. Later/when I can...I’ll post the link with pictures as to this discussion.

On mine????
I’m sure it is since you didn’t mention it in the topic. I really had to dig into my older posts that include pictures. The jump to the links was back in the day when I was disassembling the SE/ Limited models which is pretty much the exact same design as the Sport model as to how the bumper attaches to the car..if not exact.

This link clearly shows the section I bet is cracked on yours —>

After finally purchasing the 2018 model, I coated that area with silicone so when I remove the front bumper, mine won’t crack like in the link above. As to anyone wondering about those SE/ Limited models I was working on...they weren’t mine. It was a nice moment to experiment as to what’s what on the car before I finally made a purchase for the Sport model.

The key to detaching the bumper from the clips on the fenders is to lift up and pull at the same time. Worked perfect for me. Do the same when re-installing.
