I'm around 53K right now and wondering if a GDI service would be something to consider to do soon...my servicing dealer can do it for less than $200 (match other dealer's coupon), so just curious if this is something that other owners have done.

Grab berrymans 2640 4 step and spend an hour doing it yourself. Change the plugs after.

I put in new plugs two services ago (right past 42K). Stuck with the OE NGKs.

Correction above...I would probably have to check the plugs again since my last oil change my mileage has really dropped. Perhaps the dealer put in the wrong oil...I usually get synthetic.

Check ur plugs after the induction service. They might have buildup on them after the service. If so, clean them

The dealership services are usually a waste of money. If you can find someone to do walnut blasting, that will be by far the best method.

Only places I've found so far around me are indie shops that specialize in BMWs. Curious where the Veloster guys go...
