How do you measure 0-60 time?

1) Do you start the clock as soon as the revs start to climb? Ie, as soon as your car recognizes that you've asked it for power and starts to give it to you. (Makes the most sense to me).

2) Or when the car starts to physically move?

3) Or do you start as soon as you put your foot on the pedal?

I ask because this car seems to have a delay after you floor it, where the revs don't climb and you don't move, and literally nothing happens (common with modern turbos). What do you guys think?

Actually, now that I think about it, if you buy one of those expensive tools (vbox) that measures performance metrics like 0-60 time, I assume it doesn't take into account very specific nitpicky things like when you press the throttle. I assume it just takes into account the time, distance, torque/horsepower physically felt. Is this true or not? Not 100% sure.
