I got sick of the short stock shifter and the cold aluminum one so I went out to the woodshop and turned a couple new ones. One is walnut and mahogany and weighted to 170 grams and the other is bubinga, unweighted at 80 grams. Both give about 3" extension over stock. The reverse lockout works and spring is concealed. Both have a great feel in the hand and I find myself shifting more than I need to
Going to be playing with other woods and working on a customizable weight version and shift patterns next.
