Just bought a white ES 6mt base eight days ago. Loving it. Have had it out for a couple of spirited drives, nothing crazy. Love the handling. When I drive my normal day to day, (not spirited), style I am beating the fuel consumption ratings by about 0.8 l/100 km. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am a Hyundai fan and have been for awhile. I use to own a 1995 accent 5mt, actively abused that car including all the off road use the ground clearance would allow and it took it. Currently still have a 2010 Elantra 5mt which was very reliable and got allot of kms put on it from kids activities with no issues what so ever. Hoping this one will be as good as the others. It won't see off road use though. Have a Tacoma trd for that. lol.

The EPA ratings are very conservative. Most of us have been beating the numbers by quite a bit. My first two tanks have been 34 and 32 mpg (US) and my current tank is on track to beat both of those. My work commute is unique though, not much city driving and mostly highway with little traffic.
