That's basically how the rest of the world pronounces it. Makes more sense to be honest. :)
You're right, I've heard a real multitude of pronunciations over the years....but this fella was a little over the top.
Nonetheless, not a bad review....once he got into the "twisties", lol.

I call them that too sometimes. :p
I'm going to start pouncing it as High Ünd Die and irritate the stiffs around me. :D
Comfort mode would be nice, but not really needed and would raise the price anyways.
I stopped watching when I realized hes a **** canadian and get the heated wheel and sunroof included.

For such a polite people, they sure are jerks with their option packages.

He may be in Canada, but I think he's from somewhere else.
Heehee....dirty Snow -Mexicans with our cold weather options?
That guy filmed his review here, but he was brought up in a place that has a penchant for tea and poor oral hygiene.

Recently saw that the Civic Sport has an after market tune that gets rid of the rev-hang. I have that in my 6MT which is noticieable but not an issue. Having said that, a "performance" mode that gets rid of the rev-hang and modifies the torque curve to actually add a torque peak at a lower RPM (nice and linear to that peak, BTW), would be fun.

I'd hardly ever use it, but would enjoy having such a mode...Marshmallow commuter mode for the suspension and gas mileage would also be nice! ;)

BTW, HI-yun-DIE is German for, "nice car, that Elantra Sport!"

The rev-hang in the new Civic Sport was a deal breaker for me after one test drive.....infuriating.

What would cause that?....too much mass on the flywheel or just the ECU itself?

Tuning for emissions.
Ahhh.....makes sense, but it blows in It's execution. Ruins an otherwise competent car, in my opinion.
