If used TPMS sensors (EBay) are used on a 2nd set of wheels, does the car need to go to the dealer to have initialization procedure so sensors are "sensed" by the car? My understanding is "yes".

Does that wipe out the original set of wheels/sensors (in other words can the car read multiple sets or only one set at a time)?

Does anyone know the p/n of the correct sensors?

I'm curious about this as well as I'm going to need a winter wheel/tire setup.

So I installed aftermarket wheels last week without the sensors and I have no lights on the dash, is this normal?

Edit: upon further reading Canadian cars don't appear to have the sensors.

I was reading about the previous generation Elantra and members stated that they were able to run wheels/tires with new sensors in them and the car picked them up and everything worked error-free as long as they were compatible sensors. They reported that Hyundai ones obviously worked as well as the ones the Tire Rack sells. Hopefully that is the case with our car as well.
