Has anyone tested the traction control yet? I did...once. (Johnny Dangerously reference)
Let me tell you this, it's no LSD substitution.

I only turn it off if I want to drive it like a bat out of ****.
Inducing wheel spin...
With the traction contol ON, in a straight line, there is a significant feeling of wheel or engine brake. Is that how it works?
traction contol ON, in a tight corner, ...same.
traction control OFF, in a straight line, not ok, really hops around
traction control OFF, in a corner, seems ok but really "one wheel peel"

Traction control is not technically completely turned off until your turn traction and stability control off. Brakes will still be applied computerly unless you hold the traction button for more than 10secs.
It's actually like 2-3 seconds.

But it was confirmed in the facebook group that TCS is a little over inhibiting as some of us with the manual transmission notice it cutting power on the 2-3 shift. Goes away if you turn it off, but you just have to remember to turn it off...

I normally would shut TC off when driving in very snowy conditions, but during the take off only (from the lights, for example) I find TC cuts way too much power in these conditions.
