I think the talk here has been about the stock system. How is the Premiere Package sound system? That much better and worth it? Or would people want to upgrade that as well? I see 2017 Civic Si owners hating their "enhanced" sound system. Wondering if the better Hyundai system isn't up to snuff either? Just a glance at youtube reviews say it's excellent. But you never can tell. Any thoughts on how good the better system is? Would hate to spend the $2400 for the upgrade and then have to upgrade from there.

I have the premium package and I really like the infinity system. The increased size of the display is nice and has all the options I would want. My wife has a Veloster with premium stereo which has more wattage, but overall I think the Elantra system sounds better, more refined. The Veloster system may be a tad louder overall with more bass. The subwoofer is placed in a wierd position on the upper frame of the trunk in the Elantra with no cover or enclosure. It's almost as if they planned for the trunk to be the enclosure but that's a lot of square footage. If I was to upgrade, I would possibly see about an upgraded 8" sub to possibly get a tad more bass, otherwise I'm very content with this system. I wonder if a smaller enclosure could be molded to the upper trunk region to tune the subwoofer.
